We are aware of the influence of human activities on the environment. In our daily activities and adopted strategy, we set priority on Sustainable Development. In this way, we contribute to reducing the impact of economic activity on the world around us, improving the production plant or promoting pro-ecological attitudes among employees, which will certainly have results also outside the workplace.

At the initiative of our employees, we also undertake numerous charity campaigns, help those in need or plant trees together in a local park. The heart of our company beats in a small town on the border of Lesser Poland and Subcarpathia provinces, and the surrounding Low Beskid Mountains deserve special care so that they maintain their natural, still wild character as long as possible.

ELECTRIC AND HYBRID FLEET OF VEHICLES

We regularly replace the fleet of company cars with combustion engines for hybrid and electric drives. Currently, we have several cars which, thanks to lower CO2 emissions, have a lower or almost zero negative impact on the surrounding environment. The plan for the next few years is to completely abandon combustion engines in favor of hybrid and electric engines.

In some branches of the TLC Group you can already find chargers for electric cars, in others they will appear soon. This is an important step in the promotion and development of this type of infrastructure, allowing the company to invest in electric cars.

RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES

There are 440 photovoltaic panels on the roof of the TLC production hall, which meet part of the plant’s energy demand. There are plans to expand the infrastructure.
In addition, we offer our employees co-financing for the installation of a photovoltaic installation in their houses or outbuildings.

NON CO² HEAT PUMPS

We constantly strive to optimize production processes to the maximum, which will not only reduce the costs related to them, but also have a positive impact on the environment. By using the right solutions for the processing of steel and aluminum, we ensure that the manufactured elements are made in accordance with the design, thus minimizing the amount of waste.

ELECTRONIC INVOICE CIRCULATION

We have introduced an electronic invoice circulation in the company to minimize the amount of paper used.
At the same time, we encourage employees not to print documents unless necessary, and to use blank pages for notes and drafts.

RECYCLING PVC ALLOYS

Our offer includes stabilizing alloys made of 100% recyclable material. It is a product made in Poland, according to the design of TLC engineers, therefore it complements well the products we offer.

WASTE SEGREGATION

We put a lot of emphasis on the correct segregation of waste on the premises of our plant. We make employees aware of the importance of placing waste properly, which – we hope – will help to strengthen the proper habits that are also replicated outside the workplace.

KITCHEN EQUIPMENT

We have taken care of fully equipped kitchen and canteen in the office of the production plant in Gorlice. This simple procedure has allowed us to significantly reduce the amount of disposable tableware used, and also increased the comfort of meals consumed together. A tap water filter has also appeared there.

ANNUAL BICYCLE CAMPAIGN

Every year, in the spring and summer season, we encourage TLC employees to shift from their cars to bicycles. This not only promotes fitness and helps in leading a healthy lifestyle, but also allows you to have an impact on the world around us. During the campaign, each bike left in front of the building of the company means money allocated by the company for a selected charity purpose.

ECO GADGETS AND MARKETING MATERIALS

We focus on ecological gadgets and advertising materials made of recycled plastics. We invest in products whose production, use and subsequent decomposition do not adversely affect the environment.

WE SUPPORT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

We care about helping others, which is why we are happy to get involved in supporting the local community. We focus on supporting young people and people who need it the most. We organize collections and sponsor two sports clubs.
